Ah, February, the Love Month, Valentine's Day.

So, did I do the right thing, or what? Yep. A diamond heart on a white-gold bracelet for my Terry-Ann. Not bad, considering that Terry and I met with total disaster the week before in Las Vegas, during Super Bowl Week – Go Steelers!

What does Scribal Tales have to offer for the Month of Love? An article co-written by Terry-Ann and Dan “O” published for the National Court Reporter's Association, inviting the shorthand reporting world to attend the national convention to be held in New York, entitled (at least it should have been) “Fuhgedaboutit!” We hope you enjoy the writing.

Scribal News Flash: Michael Battaglia approaches his one million -- (yes, that's 1,000,000) -- word mark on his opus, “Time Falls Away (to be serialized in Scribal Tales over the next 25 years or thereabouts).

Scribal Shouts!

The Streak continues, as Peter and Karen knock ‘em dead in Vegas. Honestly, I'm sure they keep winning because Terry-Ann and I are their luck charms – at least that's what we keep telling the hotel-casino, so they continue to “comp” us!

We conclude this month's features with a wonderful letter that Gabe Morales sent to the editor's office, with “A Letter to the Editor”. Reading this letter makes my day. I hope that it expresses the joy that is shared by all the writers and readers of Scribal Tales.

In closing, a Happy Valentine's Day to all our writers, readers and subscribers, with care and fondness (not to mention “love”) from Dan “O”!
