The author may waive any cash fees for his or her submitted
work and choose to receive four contributor copies of a
published magazine or anthology concerning Scribal Tales.
You will receive a formal electronic acceptance or rejection
statement concerning your submitted work.
Formatting Guide:
Set the font for Times New Roman 12pt.
Use the underscore _ to mark italicized
passages.
Example: "I am a published author." would look like "_I am a published author._"
Use brackets [ ] to indicate centered text.
Example:
"I am a published author."
would look like ["I am a published author."]
Use the backslash / to indicate underlined text.
Example: "I am a published author." would look like "/I am a published author./"
Do not indent paragraphs. Meaning, don't bother using the
tab key. They all disappear when you paste them into a web
page. Instead, to break up paragraphs, use two (2) carriage
returns. In other words, just hit Enter twice.
Twice is very important. It's the different between:
Paragraph 1 Paragraph 1 Paragraph 1 Paragraph 1 Paragraph
1 Paragraph 1
Paragraph 2 Paragraph 2 Paragraph 2 Paragraph 2 Paragraph
2 Paragraph 2
and
Paragraph 1 Paragraph 1 Paragraph 1 Paragraph 1 Paragraph
1 Paragraph 1
Paragraph 2 Paragraph 2 Paragraph 2 Paragraph 2 Paragraph
2 Paragraph 2
The first way is unclear if the paragraph has changed.
The second is unmistakable.
All authors should use the correct form for a copyright
notice, which is: "Copyright {dates} by {Author/owner.}"
